Toast the bread slices lightly until golden and crisp on the outside but still warm. Halve the tomatoes and rub them firmly across the surface of each slice, allowing the flesh and juice to soak into the bread. Lightly crush the garlic cloves and rub them over the tomato-soaked bread. Drizzle generously with extra virgin olive oil and season with sea salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately whilst the bread is still warm, enjoying the simple interplay of fresh tomato, garlic, olive oil and quality bread.
