Vegemite on toast

Method

Toast the bread slices until golden brown and crispy. Whilst still warm, spread the butter generously over both slices, allowing it to melt into the toast. Using a butter knife, apply a very thin scraping of Vegemite across the buttered toast, remembering that a little goes a long way as Vegemite is intensely salty and savoury. Spread it as evenly as possible to avoid overpowering any single area. Serve immediately while the toast is still warm and the butter melted.
