Beat the softened butter until light and creamy, then gradually incorporate the sheep's milk cheese or curd cheese until well combined. Fold in the finely minced onion, paprika, caraway seeds, capers, anchovy fillets, mustard powder, salt and pepper, mixing thoroughly until the ingredients are evenly distributed. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and chill for at least 2 hours to allow the flavours to meld. Serve at room temperature with sliced rye bread, dark bread, or crisp crackers, and garnish with additional paprika, caraway seeds, and thinly sliced onion if desired.
