Method

Mix wheat flour and rice flour together in a large bowl, then add salt. Heat ghee in a pan and roast the flour mixture for 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously until it becomes light golden and fragrant. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly, then add jaggery, sesame seeds, peanuts, and cardamom, mixing thoroughly. Gradually add water whilst mixing to form a soft, pliable dough that holds together without being wet. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape each into a small disc, then fry gently in ghee on a griddle or heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
