Boil water in a kettle and brew the tea leaves in a teapot for 3-4 minutes, then strain into a jug to cool slightly. Pour the evaporated milk and condensed milk into two tall glasses or mugs. Pour the hot tea into the glass from a height of about 30-40 cm above, allowing it to mix with the milk whilst creating a frothy head as it cools slightly. If making traditional teh tarik, carefully pour the mixture back and forth between two glasses or metal cups from height repeatedly, creating more froth and cooling the drink to the perfect temperature. Serve immediately in the glass, enjoying the creamy, frothy top layer with each sip.
