Method

Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil and add the sea salt. Add the frozen edamame and return to the boil, then simmer for 5-6 minutes until the pods are heated through and tender. Drain the edamame in a colander and transfer to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with extra sea salt to taste and toss gently to coat. Serve warm or at room temperature, squeezing the beans out of their pods with your teeth as you eat.
