Method

Pour the jallab syrup into a large pitcher and add the cold water, stirring well to combine thoroughly. Fill tall serving glasses with ice cubes, dividing evenly amongst the four glasses. Pour the jallab mixture over the ice, filling each glass to near the top. Sprinkle the toasted pine nuts and soaked raisins into each glass as garnish. If using orange blossom water, add a few drops to each glass and stir gently. Serve immediately whilst very cold, providing long spoons for guests to reach the nuts and fruit at the bottom.
