Method

Boil the water in a kettle and pour into a teapot with the Thai tea powder, allowing it to steep for 5 minutes until deeply coloured. Strain the tea through a fine sieve or cloth filter into a jug, pressing gently to extract all the liquid. Stir in the sugar whilst the tea is still hot, then allow it to cool to room temperature. Pour the cooled tea into two tall glasses filled with ice cubes, then pour 2 tablespoons of condensed milk into each glass followed by 1.5 tablespoons of evaporated milk. Stir well and serve immediately.
