Method

Allow the butter to soften to room temperature until it becomes spreadable but not melted, approximately 20 minutes. Combine the finely chopped fresh herbs, minced garlic, sea salt, and black pepper in a clean bowl and mix thoroughly. Fold the herb mixture gently into the softened butter using a spatula until evenly distributed, then add the lemon juice and stir carefully to combine. Transfer the herb butter to a sheet of greaseproof paper, roll it into a log shape, and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours. Alternatively, press the mixture into small ceramic pots for serving. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months.
