Make a simple dough by mixing flour, water and salt, then knead until smooth and rest for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, finely chop onions and fry gently in butter until softened, then mix with minced meat, salt and pepper to create the filling. Divide dough into 4 portions and roll each into a thin rectangle, spread a quarter of the meat mixture over each, then roll up tightly and coil into a spiral. Place each spiral on a greased baking tray and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot, traditionally brushed with melted butter.
