Preheat oven to 200C and line a baking tray with baking paper. In a large bowl, combine the cassava flour, grated cheese, salt and black pepper. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir vigorously until a thick, sticky dough forms, then drizzle in the melted butter and mix thoroughly. Using two spoons or a small ice cream scoop, drop walnut-sized portions onto the prepared tray, spacing them about 5cm apart. Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown and crispy on the outside. Serve warm from the oven, as the cheese pulls into delightful strings when broken apart.
